Wiz Khalifa - Blacc Hollywood Sales Projections (Article)

#AMPtv got the word that Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood album is expected to sell anywhere between 70,000 and 80,000 copies its first week in stores, according to reports from HitsDailyDouble.

If he does these major numbers, the album from the Pittsburgh pot-smoker is expected to compete for the #1 album in the country against the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix, Vol.1, which was the #1 album in the country this week with 92,585 units sold, which includes sales for the week ending August 18.

 This week’s best-selling rap album was from Iggy Azalea "New Classic", which sold an approximate 13,135 units. Khalifa's highest selling album, 2011’s Rolling Papers, has been certified gold by the RIAA.

Earlier this month, Wiz Khalifa said that Blacc Hollywood would solidify his place in the music industry. "This is just gonna further prove the consistency and it's just another addition to my catalog, my career, what I do to the game and what I do to these niggas," Wiz Khalifa said.
