#AMPv: So how was it growing up in Detroit ?
LOF: Lol...no matter where I am in the world, that's always the first question. Detroit is a hard working blue collar gritty city, and those things were ingrained in me early on. My mother raised me by herself, life taught me the rest.
#AMPv: How have your upbringings influenced your music ?
LOF: My love of music comes from both of my parents. Pops was into music, mom was always a music lover and that's the one thing I remember always being there. Life is art...when I can't find any other way to express myself...I make records.
#AMPv: What is one source of motivation you have ?
LOF: The will to be great. I was born to push things forward. The unknown excites me. History remembers those who change it's course.
#AMPv: Nice quote, If you could do a feature with one artist who would it be ?
LOF: Crazy tough question. There is so much talent in the world. I'd want to collab with Lauryn Hill, I just believe her mind works different.
#AMPv: How long have you been doing music ?
LOF: I've been been writing for years. Really recording and putting out records, the last 5 years or so.
#AMPv: What advice can you leave for young MC's trying to get in the game ?
LOF: Keep going until YOU don't want to do it anymore. It's a long road. Some of us have longer roads than others. Stay focused and moving forward.
