2012 BET Award Nominees List

Awards are here ! Yes people, the nominees for this year's BET Awards have been announced and while there are a few surprises, many of the nominees are a of course no-brainers, outside of the Best Female HipHop Artist which sorta throws u off.

The Throne, aka the Jay and Yeezy supergroup that dropped one of 2011's biggest albums, lead the awards. It will be interesting to see if they actually show up, given their rigarous relationship with the music network.

Kanye West leads the list of nominations for the 2012 BET Awards, which the network announced on Tuesday. West scored a leading seven, six of them the result of his heralded collaboration with Jay-Z. When the two rap heavyweights announced they would join forces on "Watch the Throne," under the equally royal moniker The Throne, it became one of last year's most anticipated releases. Fans were eager to hear what the frequent collaborators would offer.
