Ice Cube & Kevin Hart Are Filming Ride Along Three !? (Article)

#AMPtv got the word that only months after Ride Along 2 destroyed the box office with well over $100 million in theaters around the world, the writers who created the film are already pounding out a script that'll make Ride Along a trilogy.

Variety reported that screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are working with director Tim Story, who is best known for working on the first two movies in the series, as well as Think Like A Man and Barbershop.

The first two Ride Along movies starred former NWA member Ice Cube as a veteran cop, and funny man Kevin Hart as a would-be officer.

The first two installments of the series came out ahead of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and are in the #2 and #4 positions for record earnings over that weekend, respectively.

Thanks to its amazing weekend sales, the second film earned over $40 million in its opening weekend.
