The film, which places it's main focus on the early years of Ruthless Records and beyond, is set to earn approximately $15 million this weekend alone in box office. It's competition includes the thriller No Escape, the drama War Room and the romantic film We Are Your Friends.
The film was on pace to make $28 million as of August 21st and it was announced to have reached $100 million in the first nine days of being in theaters.
