Guess Who Jay Z Just Signed To His Roc Nation Imprint ? (Article)

#AMPtv got the word that Angie Martinez has become the very first radio personality to sign with Jay Z’s Roc Nation, annouced by the management company via Twitter today (November 4).

“Roc Nation welcomes multimedia personality @AngieMartinez to the Roc Nation family!” reads the post, featuring Martinez sporting a company hat. Over the summer, Martinez resigned from her home station Hot 97, where she had been for 25 years and interviewed artists including Tupac and Jay Z among others.

She there after joined rival station Power 105.1, where according to sources she will make double the income. Jigga was Martinez’ first guest at Power 105.1 in July and had nothing but praise for her. Big Sean joined the Roc Nation management roster as well recently, telling HipHopDX that Jay Z and his guys “have a lot of the right connections to make things happen.”
