G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean has stepped forward to confirm buzz and speculation over his relationship with Hollywood actress Naya Rivera after they appeared together as a couple last week. According to Sean, he recently broke up with his last girlfriend and is now going steady with Rivera.
"I had no idea it was going to be like that," Sean said when asked about his reaction to his relationship status going public. "It's funny because Naya, I've been dating her for a little while -- I guess that [42 movie premiere] event was one of the first big events that came up while I was dating her. We was like, 'Let's go to it,' because we both wanted to go. And you know, I'm kind of a private person, she's a private person and the thing is I had a girlfriend too before that who I've been with [for a long time]. I've always been in a relationship since I was about 18 or 19, [that's] when I got with her. Things didn't work out but not 'cause of all this -- sometimes when you're with someone, you're 18 and you grow up, and it was long distance too, she lived in New York and I lived in LA, it was just, like, you grow apart as people. ... As far as Naya, it's something new. ... Naya is very cool. Our relationship is cool. Yeah, she's tight."(The Urban Informer)
