*RISING STARS* Team Wonders - Turn Up (Article + Video)

#AMPtv periodically features artists as RISING STARS and today we have an addition. Team Wonders is a group based in Ann Arbor that have been making noise online and in the streets which they claim.

 

 

Vaudry R. is a local artist born and raised in Ann Arbor. Vaudry started rapping when he was 10 years of age. Growing up in the music life, he had history with THE OLYMPICKS, CASH CAMP PRODUCER'S and KLASSIFIED.

 

Anthony A. Thompson is a local rapper in Ann Arbor , he was born in Detroit raised in Ann Arbor. Anthony started rapping when he was 8 and started recording at age 12. Growing in music , Anthony has history with BONE THUGS, ANIMAL PLANET (rap group ) , opened for BIG HERK.

 

Both of these talented young artists met up on the west side of Ann Arbor. There, they linked with music soon to find out both of their unique sounds compliment each others style and energy on a song. now knowing this , they came together and came up with a team with a name that would top all the others.

The song "Turn Up" by Team Wonders begins with a beat thats hype enough to party to. The name of the track alone turned me off from the jump and the hook didnt make the situation better. With songs out by the same name and repeated hook the song is catchy enough to make you want to sing. Leading off verse one, So Ducci Vaud takes the reigns reminesicant to todays French Montana. Nothing original or eye popping about the verse but it keeps the flow of the song going. Following with a stronger verse, Prol'e attacks the track with a similar flow to the first verse. I perfer groups be versatile and have different sounds that still compliment each other. Overall the song is something worthy of the club scene and if the other "Turn Up" songs by numerous other artists intrigue you then this song will make you wanna TURN UP !
