#AMPtv got the word that Chad Johnson AKA Chad Ochocinco is locked up in MIAMI for BEATNG UP his new bride, Evelyn Lozada.


Here's what we're told happened. According to Davie police Capt. Dale Engle, Chad and his wife were at dinner Saturday night and she confronted him about a receipt she had found for a box of condoms. Then all heck broke loose. The two started ARGUING, and then CHAD HEAD BUTTED Evelyn - hard enough for her face to be BADLY BRUISED AND BLEEDING. According to Chad, Johnson claims that he butted heads with Lozada by accident. Police did NOT believe him and so he was arrested. Evelyn was taken to the hospital, she suffers from CUTS AND BRUISES to the forehead . . . and a possible concussion!! We just received an UNCONFIRMED report that Evelyn is "not sure" whether the head butt was INTENTIONAL . . . or ACCIDENTAL
